Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar Walillahil Hamdu.

Always be grateful and give thanks to the presence of Allah Subhanahu wata’ala, for all His abundant grace and bounty. Alhamdulillah, we are still given the pleasures of faith and Islam, health and the opportunity to carry out various worships to Allah Subhanahu wata’ala, including carrying out the Eid al-Adha prayer this morning.

We always extend prayers and greetings to the lap of the Great Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), a noble man and the last prophet chosen by Allah Subhanahu wata’ala to be an example (uswah) for all mankind at all times.

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar Walillahil Hamdu.

This morning, the Muslims who are performing the Hajj as guests of Allah Subhanahu wata’ala, dhuyufurrahman, have gathered to perform wuquf in ‘Arafah and carry out other sunnah worship such as performing Jumratul ‘Aqabah, and others.

With their ihram clothes, they come from different parts of the world, coming from different backgrounds of nations, races, skin colors, cultures and social strata from each other. However, they have the same goal, which is to fulfill the call of Allah Subhanahu wata’ala to be His guest and monotheism in the Esakan of Allah Subhanahu wata’ala alone.

Muslims in Indonesia, on this Friday 10 Dzulhijah 1446 H or June 6, 2025 AD all gather in the field, mosque, and others to carry out Eid al-Adha prayers. Opportunities, abilities, and sincere desires are our capital to be able to participate in the implementation of this worship.

These are all the abundance of the gifts of Allah Subhanahu wata’ala for which we must always be grateful. Also to the beloved of Allah Subhanahu wata’ala, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) the leader of all the apostles and prophets, a true example of Muslims who with his sunnah has led his people towards the khairu ummah (the best of the ummah).

Sincerity in sacrificing has been exemplified by the Prophet Ibrahim (AS) when he was ordered to sacrifice his beloved son, Ismail As. The implementation of the command is something very difficult psychologically, but the feeling is overcome by the submission and sincerity of carrying out the commands of Allah Subhanahu wata’ala.

The attitude of the Prophet Ibrahim (as) hints at an important message that love for Allah Subhanahu wata’ala overcomes love for others, so it requires a willingness to sacrifice something that is very dear in order to achieve a higher love, mahabbatullah.

There are many lessons implied from the sacrificial event of the Prophet Ibrahim (as): one of them is responsibility as the foundation of activity. Prophet Ibrahim (as) gave an example of the high sense of responsibility in fulfilling his duties. He tries to ignore his individual egoism and istiqamah towards the mandate he carries. He was also persistent in carrying out the commands of Allah Subhanahu wata’ala, even though it was not in line with his expectations.

When this sense of responsibility is firmly embedded in the heart and imprinted in all dimensions of daily life, then professionalism will be built constructively. The concrete dimension of this responsibility is to always give the best based on each one’s capacity and capability.

Someone who is always optimistic, will definitely become a tough person. He will be ready to face good and bad conditions. If the good condition is obtained, he will immediately be grateful; But if bad conditions are found, then he responds patiently. There were no complaints from his mouth.

Let us ask for forgiveness for our sins and mistakes, and accept all our good deeds. May Allah Subhanahu wata’ala always show us the right path and prevent us from going astray.

O Allah, O Lord, make this Eid al-Adha as the starting point for our spirit of sacrifice and our spirit of devotion to this country. O Allah, O Lord, bestow peace and tranquility on this nation. Bless the sustenance that You always bestow upon us. Aamiin Yaa Rabbal ‘Alamiin.
